Soul Shop™ for Hispanic Churches Development Update

At Soul Shop™ Movement, we are excited to announce that our Soul Shop™ program tailored for Hispanic churches is currently in the development stage. The final product is planned to be completed by May 2025. This initiative comes in response to the increasing suicide rates within Hispanic/Latinx/Spanish-speaking congregations, aiming to address this issue with cultural competence at its core.

Working in partnership with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, we are dedicated to creating a program that resonates with the unique cultural nuances, challenges, and strengths of Hispanic communities. By collaborating with experts in both mental health, faith communities, and Hispanic culture, we aim to develop a resource that not only tackles the concerning rise in suicide rates but also fosters a deeper understanding and support system within these congregations.
