Christopher Epperson

After his own personal struggles, attempt with suicide in high school and the loss of several friends, Christopher got involved in suicide prevention in 2011.  He serves on the National Board of Directors for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), the AFSP Chapter Leadership Council (past chair), Suicide Prevention Resource Center - Lived Experience Committee, and a board member of AFSP - Arkansas Chapter. In January 2021, and became co-owner and director of Soul Shop™ Movement, which focuses on suicide prevention education for faith leaders around the United States. 

In 2020, he received the Distinguished Chapter Leadership Award from AFSP, and under his leadership, the Arkansas Chapter of AFSP has received many distinguished awards.

Christopher is a former youth minister for a bible church in Tyler, Texas, and is currently enrolled in seminary. He is passionate about bringing hope and saving lives to those affected by suicidal desperation.
